What do you think of when you think of fall? To us, family, beautiful colors, pumpkins, traditions, and full hearts come to mind. We don’t know about you, but we don’t want fall to pass by without soaking in all it has to offer! So, if you’re like us, let’s celebrate fall together!
Bake all the pumpkin!

It wouldn’t be fall if there wasn’t a little pumpkin baking going on. And you don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to make some delicious pumpkin treats. Here are four recipes that you can bake anytime during the fall season!
Decorate your home.

Get in the fall mood by decorating your home because who says you have to wait until Christmas to go all out? Put on music, bake some goodies (see above), and celebrate fall by adding autumn flair to your home! Here are a few fall décor ideas if you need some inspiration.
Cozy up with a good book.

Who doesn’t love sitting down with a cup of coffee, cider, or hot cocoa and cozying up with a good book? Taking time to do something you enjoy is a lovely way to celebrate fall. If you feel like getting out of the house, head to a local coffee shop or bookstore to do some reading and indulge in a pumpkin spice latte.
Go apple picking.

Apple picking is a unique way to have fun with your family during the fall season. Make a whole day of it by finding a local apple orchard, picking your apples, and bringing a fall themed picnic to enjoy after! You can even switch up that pumpkin baking to apples for dessert. 😉
The best part about this plan is that you get to support local businesses, and that’s always a win.
Practice daily gratitude.

For us, Thanksgiving is the highlight of this season. So, let’s celebrate fall by practicing gratitude all season long. Here are a few ways to keep gratitude top of mind:
- Keep a gratitude journal: You don’t even have to write in it every day! But keeping a journal to write down what you’re thankful for just once a week is enough to boost happiness! (See this study in, “Tips for Keeping a Gratitude Journal.”)
- Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness helps keep you in the present moment. What better way to express gratitude than living in the now?
- Show you care: Don’t keep gratitude to yourself! Share your appreciation for your loved ones by letting them know how thankful you are for them.
