The Power of Chia Seeds

No matter the time of day, we love enjoying the delicious addition of chia seeds into our diet. We know you will, too! Read on for tasty recipes and to learn about the surprising ingredient in one of our favorite skincare products.*

Chia in the morning.  

One of our preferred ways to incorporate chia seeds into our morning routine is through refreshing fruit smoothies. We love starting the day feeling full of fruits vegetables and the contentedness that comes from a full stomach. This is our favorite plant-based protein powder, which tastes delicious and contains wholesome protein-rich ingredients from brown rice, peas, and—you guessed it—chia.  We especially love that it comes in two fantastic flavors: chocolate (we recommend mixing with avocado and your favorite nut milk) and vanilla (tastes great with berries, kale, bananas, and dates). More of a coffee person? Try out this recipe for an amazing mocha protein shake incorporating chia.  



First, add liquids to your blender, followed by the protein powder, and ice. Next, blend until smooth. Add more milk or ice if needed to reach your desired consistency. 

Chia in the evening.  

Chia seeds are super versatile, and make great additions to your evening meals, too! For a simple snack, snag a bag of our best-loved whole grain tortilla chips and make a quick batch of salsa or guacamole.
